Tamlink provides companies with university-level R & D & I expertise in a better and more cost-effective way. R & D & I projects are implemented in collaboration between the company, Tamlink and the research communities. The research communities are mostly TAU and VTT research groups, but other national and international research institutes are also represented.
The company and Tamlink jointly create customer-specific contract models and jointly define project goals and schedules. Pre-agreed general conditions and a general level cost estimate allow the project to start without delay.
Tamlink seeks the necessary expertise from its networks and forms a suitable research team, which may consist of several research communities. Tamlink can acquire the necessary expertise either as a subcontractor, or hire researchers for the duration of the project. Depending on the project, the expertise of SMEs and startups can also be utilized.
Tamlink ensures the confidentiality of the researchers and that the created IP is transferred to the client. The operating model is transparent and approved by public R6D funders like Business Finland and EU.
